Job Description
- Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, land development agreements, and financing arrangements.
- Work closely with developers, homebuilders, and landowners on a variety of real estate projects.
- Manage and oversee transactional real estate matters involving land development and homebuilding.
- Handle landbanking transactions, working with homebuilders to provide capital and acquire finished lots.
- Collaborate with local counsel in multiple states to ensure compliance with regional real estate laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional real estate law, with a focus on land development and homebuilding.
- Experience with landbanking transactions is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of homebuilder transactional dealings, including acquisition and sale of finished lots.
- Bar admission in any state is acceptable, but preference will be given to candidates with experience in the primary states of operation (TX, CA, FL, NV, WA, the Carolinas, AZ, GA).
- Ability to work full-time in the Scottsdale, AZ office on a hybrid schedule.
