Job Description:

We are seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will work in a positive and nurturing environment that supports your professional growth. You will be responsible for the independent operation of radiation-producing equipment and the performance of routine radiographic procedures, including mobile radiography and fluoroscopy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiation-producing equipment independently and efficiently.

  • Perform routine radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.

  • Conduct mobile radiography and fluoroscopy as required.

  • Assist Radiologists during diagnostic examinations.

  • Maintain radiographic rooms, ensuring they are well stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Complete all required paperwork, including history sheets and computerized e-forms, to ensure well-documented patient care.

  • Perform routine clerical duties such as filing and copying exams and reports.

  • Understand and execute all phases of film printing, storage, and retrieval using the PACS system.

  • Provide timely and professional services for inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with CT, is preferred.

  • Ability to follow directions and perform work according to department standards.

  • Demonstrated maturity and ability to work effectively in stressful situations.

  • Strong capacity to work independently and professionally while delivering thorough care.

Licenses/Certificates:

  • ARRT certification in radiology or registry eligible.

  • Registry-eligible candidates must pass the ARRT registry within one year to maintain employment.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
