Quality Supervisor

My client, a well-established, privately-held, manufacturer of CNC precision machined components, is searching for a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead frontline quality assurance operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Central Illinois, ideal for someone ready to mentor technicians, support audits, and ensure compliance with ISO and customer quality requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise daily activities of quality technicians and inspectors
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards
- Train and coach inspection staff on methods and equipment use
- Support customer and third-party audits, non-conformance tracking, and CAPA activities
- Oversee calibration processes and coordinate inspection documentation
- Serve as the quality point of contact on the shop floor for operators and leadership
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience supervising quality teams in a CNC machining environment
- Experience with Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems, PPAPs, and GD&T
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and develop technicians
- Detail-oriented and hands-on with a passion for operational excellence
