Our client is an international manufacturer of stamped automotive components and is looking for a Quality Management Systems Engineer.

 

The Quality Management System Engineer is responsible for managing the day to day operation to ensure the quality of manufactured products meeting TS16949 standards. 

 

Essential Functions

·         Planning and conducting audits (system, workplace, etc.), including monitoring the implementation of measures (confirmation of effectiveness)

·         Coordination and connection with external certification bodies

·         Sustainably raising employees’ quality awareness

·         Training of new employees in the basic knowledge of QMS

·         Creating management review

·         Adaptation and continuous updating of procedures according to the specifications of the elements of individual standards

·         Methods for improving QMS performance

·         Determining the schooling needs based on the quality management system

·         Management’s assessment of the status of the quality management system

·         Customer requests for QMS

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

·         Certified TS 16949 Quality Auditor/Certified VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 Quality Auditor

·         Expertise in in advanced quality planning, inspection of equipment and techniques, root cause failure analysis, machine and assembly processes, and problem solving

·         Must have strong Quality problem solving skills and the ability to work

·         Good knowledge of MS Office

·         Experience performing audits (internal & external)

Education and/or Experience:

·         Must have 5+ years of experience in Automotive Quality

·         Associates or Bachelor’s Degree  

·         5-8+ years of prior Quality experience in the Automotive Manufacturing or Automotive Parts Manufacturing environment

 

Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations –Certified VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 Quality Auditor
