Project Manager

Job Duties
Project size $10 – $35 million. All Class A high rise and multi-story parking structures;
Projects primarily LA, Orange County and Inland Empire.

Requirements
1. Minimum 10 year experience.
2. Must have strong understanding of scoping, buyout, cost control and communication skills.
3. Fluent in Prolog and Converge a plus.

Job Description

These are in the trenches, roll up the sleeves and do the work Project Manager positions.  They are not being hired to direct other Project Managers or have several Assistant PMs under them.  Their typical team will be them (as the PM), a VDC Engineer and Project Superintendent.  Depending the size of the project they may have more.  They also need to be accepting of working either as a Design-Build General Contractor Project Manager (that self-performs all structural concrete work on the project) or as a Structural Concrete Subcontractor.  If they only want to do GC, they will not get hired by us.  We could take a concrete only PM.  We are a Union Contractor and self-perform 30% of most projects which means they will have to either already understand the added granular cost detail when you self-perform or be willing to learn if the rest of the Management skills are solid.

Location and Benefits

PMs will work from the Jobsite and sometimes from the Corporate office.  Work is spread across California but primarily LA County, Orange County and the Inland Empire.  All other positions will need to work primarily from the Corporate office.  We have a tremendous medical plan, BlueCross PPO Platinum w 100% of employee’s monthly premium paid by the company along with the typical 401k, dental, life insurance, PTO, sick days, and 9 legal holidays
