The client is a leading provider of Commercial construction services, with a strong presence throughout North America and 28 offices, so there is plenty of room for career advancement. 
 

Position: Project Executive – Commercial

Skills and Experience:
This person must be focused on vertical construction. Ideal candidates would have participated in large vertical construction projects such as Mid-rise, high-rise, data center, or distribution center projects. 

This position will provide overall leadership for project performance, contract negotiations, client relations, budget, schedule, and trade partner management. The Project Executive will also lead and maintain compliance with corporate safety and quality standards and will serve as clients’ direct point of contact.

Requirements:

o   Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or Engineering with a minimum of 15+ years of GC experience.

o   Large project experience ($75M+) is required

o   Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task

o   Strong working knowledge of contract terms and legal provisions that impact project profitability

o   A proven track record of motivating project team to exceed project goals

o   Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner

Essential Job Duties:

o   Project Acquisition

o   Using industry contacts to generate leads

o   Participate in Contract negotiations as needed

o   Pre-Construction / Project Start-up

o   Work with Pre-Con team to develop budgets and schedules

o   Assemble project Team

o   Lead Turnover Meeting between Pre-Con and Project Team.

Project Operations

o   Thoroughly understand contract and ensure project team understands and is compliant

o   Visit project site regularly to monitor performance

o   Full understanding of Accounts Receivable, Financial Forecasting and P&L for project

o   Champion project safety program and performance

o   Attend owner and project meetings, maintain continuous client communication
