Title: Project Engineer
Industry: Water / Wastewater Manufacturing
Location: Morris County, NJ (Fully onsite)
Reports To: Project Engineering Manager
Salary: $75,000 – $105,000 (depending on experience)
Relocation: Not offered
Travel: Minimal (fabrication inspections / local customer sites)
 
Ideal Candidate Profile· Experience: 2–7 years.  Project engineering experience in manufacturing (water/wastewater treatment equipment and public works preferred but not required)
 
Background:
  • Mechanical aptitude is critical
  • Hands-on experience managing engineered equipment projects
  • Experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment equipment preferred but can come from various other industries where there are transferable skills.
  • Experience with municipalities, utilities, or public works contracts is a major plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing projects from order through shipment.
  • Customer facing communication with engineers, contractors, and end users
  • Handling submittals, documentation, schedules, and coordination
  • Exposure to public works requirements (prevailing wage, specs, compliance, etc.)
  • Coordination with fabrication and equipment inspections
