Responsibilities:
• Manage new product introduction projects (NPI) and product improvement projects (PIP) from the customer RFQ phase to PPAP.
• Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Report on project success criteria, results, metrics, and lessons learned.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, and tools for successful project execution.
• Prepare estimates, where necessary, and a detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manage project scope and changes.
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project
Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the Automotive Industry or relevant experience
• Extensive manufacturing experience in operations serving commercial & passenger vehicles.
• Experience with vehicle quality systems and processes (DFMEA, DFM, DVPR, etc.).
• Extensive Experience with Customer Contact and specific Customer Requirements
• Extensive Experience in NPI, PIP, Launching projects, and Program Management.
• Core Tools, Control Plan, QA Systems, 8D, Layered Process Audits, Lean Tools
• Knowledge IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001 • Experience in SAP PLM • Efficient, proactive, and hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
