- Develop and manage customer relationships within the USG.
- Support strategic business plan of the company by developing solutions tailored to USG customers.
- Create and deliver quotations and/or proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs and other USG requests.
- Lead negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordination of preparation of budgets, specifications, and financial terms.
- Ensure projects within your area of responsibility are completed on time and on budget.
- Manage delivery of solutions including but not limited to continuous tracking of internal and external deliverables.
- Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure that offered solutions meet all requirements and achieve all milestones.
- Assess and monitor USG needs including but not limited to maintenance, engineering, and training.
- Manage supplier involvement.
- Serve as the primary contact for the USG within area of responsibility.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Travel to customer sites (up to 80%) and maximize customer engagement within designated budget.
- Support in training sales apprentices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales/business development
- 5-10 years of experience in managing multi-task contracts
- Experience executing the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Work Environment:
A general office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
Periodic: Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Occasional: Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
