Overtime as required to support production demands
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations in the assembly and fabrication department, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and safety. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team, optimizing workflow, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Direct and manage workflow, ensuring team members are assigned tasks efficiently
Monitor and control costs, minimizing scrap and rework
Anticipate and respond to production challenges such as delays, material shortages, or equipment issues
Collaborate with engineering to implement cost-reduction and process improvement strategies
Supervise, train, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
Support accident investigation and corrective action initiatives
Ensure compliance with safety policies, company procedures, and industry regulations
Maintain accurate production and employee records
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize Key Business Drivers (VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
OR Associate degree + 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Familiarity with VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen strategies for process optimization
