Production Supervisor, Day Shift

 

Position Summary:

Supports and supervises the completion of daily production goals through ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are being followed and department resources are properly organized and utilized.

Responsibilities:

·       Always serves as a positive role model consistent with Polo’s corporate culture.

·       Abides by correctional facility rules, policies and procedures.

·       Monitors daily work schedule to meet established customer delivery.

·       Conducts and participates in meetings with workforce and management team.

·       Prepares, reviews, and completes daily and weekly production and job sheets.

·       Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity.

·       Prepares and conducts 45/90-day, and annual performance evaluations for direct reports.

·       Ensures that company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.

·       Provides positive attitude for team environment.

·       Monitors production for all parts in process.

·       Pulls work from in-house store to department and organizes work for smooth operation.

·       Aids in set-up when needed.

·       Processes and returns completed jobs to warehouse.

Requirements

·       High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

·       One to two years production/supervision experience preferred.

·       Some computer skills.

·       Strong leadership skills.

·       Organized, responsible, punctual, and self-disciplined.

·       Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.

·       Always maintains a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

·       Ability to read, write and communicate effectively via phone, electronic or in person.  

·       Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform accurately.

·       Ability to move from one task to another.

·       Ability to counsel/resolve disputes between hourly associates.

·       Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
