Job Title: Production Supervisor

Department: Production

Reports To: Production Manager

Summary:

Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of production personnel responsible for manufacturing precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving production goals while maintaining high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of production personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and report on progress to management.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
  • Train and mentor new employees to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Proactively identify and address potential production issues to prevent disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements in metalworking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of production personnel.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control measures, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
