Summary:
Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of production personnel responsible for manufacturing precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of production personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain efficient workflow.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics and report on progress to management.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
- Train and mentor new employees to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Proactively identify and address potential production issues to prevent disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements in metalworking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a production environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of production personnel.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control measures, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
