The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all department employees and must ensure compliance with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards on 2nd shift 3-11pm
- Supervises all personnel and operations in the department.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Trains, upgrades, evaluates & reviews all dept. employees and assures adherence to current ISO procedures and safety procedures.
- Ensure that established policy, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Distributes plant status reports to the next shift Supervisor and Area Manager.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Associates degree preferred and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment.
- Working in a union environment is a plus.
