As Production Specialist is a critical part of tooling development team and focuses on statistical process control. Primary focus in extrusion department, then other departments as needed.
Essential Functions
Other duties may be assigned:
- Investigate production and quality issues and work with production supervisors and machine operators to correct processes.
- Solve technical and processing issues; suggest changes on PLC’s.
- Coordinate production trials (new compounds, new material), evaluate the process, and share the results with the team.
- Conduct capabilities studies.
- Complete material testing.
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects.
Required Education and Experience
- Engineering or technical degree or equivalent education.
- Plastics processing knowledge
