We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee a significant portion of our daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead production supervisors, drive operational excellence, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and employee development. A key focus will be on fostering leadership within the production team to ensure long-term success.
Lead and direct Production Supervisors, ensuring smooth production flow and alignment with company objectives
Monitor and improve safety, quality, efficiency, scrap reduction, and production schedules
Develop, train, and mentor production supervisors, with a focus on leadership growth
Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to implement Continuous Improvement strategies
Achieve production goals by effectively scheduling and meeting customer demands
Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure budgetary targets are met
Promote a workplace culture centered on productivity, quality, and customer service
Ensure strict adherence to plant safety protocols, policies, and housekeeping standards
Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes
Lead the execution of annual operating budgets and financial plans
Maintain compliance with ISO-9000 quality assurance policies
Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large-scale, high-volume industrial manufacturing environment
OR Associate degree + 8 years of experience in a similar role
OR equivalent combination of education and experience in a high-complexity manufacturing setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Availability to work 1st Shift (Monday-Friday) with occasional weekend overtime based on production needs
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles
Proven ability to manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, and develop leadership within a production team
