Production Engineer

Responsible for production engineering support of the Plastics & Ceramic Divisions

B.S. Engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial.
Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within a plastics molding facility. Strong mechanical aptitude required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Provides engineering support for all production activities, primary focus in Plastics division.

2.    Assist with molding machine set-up and process programming on new and existing products.

3.    Assist with robot programming.

4.    Responsible for identification and implementation of cost reductions.

5.    Provides Engineering Support for new project production start-up

6.    Provides support for resolving quality and production issues within the plant.

7.    Provides engineering support for the Maintenance Department.

8.    Assists with development of labor standards for the incentive system with the use of time studies.

9.    Other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to stand and be on your feet for 8 or more hours per day.

 2. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
