Automation Controls Product Engineer – Electrical Enclosures

What You’ll Do:

  • Select and develop best-in-class products for industrial automation.
  • Evaluate and test new industrial enclosures and thermal management technologies.
  • Own the product lifecycle from development to customer support.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure top product quality.
  • Provide second-tier support during business hours – no 24/7 calls!
  • Occasional domestic and international travel for supplier and industry evaluations.

What You Need:

  • 6+ years (10 preferred) in industrial automation or OEM/manufacturing of enclosures or thermal management products.
  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or 10+ years of relevant experience).
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, or industrial controls is a plus.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), or agency approvals is a plus.
