The Principal Engineer is an experienced fire protection engineering professional who successfully leads projects/tasks and is considered a technical subject matter expert in fire protection.
Responsibilities:
Be a go to technical SME for internal and external customers (clients, project manager, project engineers, project coordinators)
Effectively communicates with clients, consultants, and engineers
Work with company leadership to assign new incoming projects
Solves engineering problems as the company’s go to technical SME in Fire Protection
Help guide projects to successful conclusions including doing site visits, meeting with clients, and helping navigate project upsets/issues.
Qualification:
BS in engineering, engineering technology, science, or related field
10+ years of fire protection experience
Proficiency in Revit/ AutoCAD, BIM 360
Registered/ licensed PE (preferably Fire Protection Engineering) or senior certified engineering technician (NICET).
