Plumbing Engineer/Designer:
Our company is seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer/Designer with a minimum of 4 years’
experience. This is a career opportunity for a person who has previous experience in the building
consulting engineering business as a project designer, engineer, or project manager. We will also
consider Senior Plumbing Engineers/Designer who have experience mentoring a plumbing team.
We need a conscientious, responsible individual who is well versed in plumbing systems design for
institutional and commercial buildings. The candidate will have knowledge in operating Revit (minimum
2 years’ experience) and AutoCAD to draft and design Plumbing Systems.
Typical Responsibilities:
∙ Performs involved and detailed design requirements.
∙ Knowledgeable of plumbing design elements in healthcare, institutional, and educational facilities.
∙ Performs 3D Revit and 2D CAD work.
∙ Receives project assignments from the firm’s Principals, Senior Associates/Associates or Senior
Engineers/Project Managers.
∙ Recognizes problems quickly and seeks Principal, Senior Associate/Associate or Senior
Engineer/Project Manager advice.
∙ Completes project designs, drawings, specifications, system studies, calculations, correspondence,
survey, code studies, and construction administration as necessary.
The candidate must have:
∙ Working knowledge of current Building Codes.
∙ High level of written and verbal communication skills.
∙ High attention to detail.
∙ Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
∙ Good people skills.
∙ Great attitude is a MUST.
