This role reports to the COO – they come to planning meetings with the other plant managers and you are involved in the overall strategy and vision for the company.
Your Responsibilities:
I spoke with the COO about this role and asked about him the type of person he wants. He said that he wants someone who can take general direction and then run with that direction in terms of how it’s achieved. So firstly, you have a lot of autonomy. Currently this facility is sold out – they recently recaptured a customer they had previously lost and that has upped the demand significantly. This role will require creativity and a hands-on approach.
