Your primary responsibilities…
 Partner with site leadership to drive an environment of continuous improvement and
knowledge sharing through the prompt and accurate analysis of information, critical thinking,
and constructive challenging of the status quo.
 Collaborate with site personnel to define and implement efforts to improve efficiency and
reduce costs in support of the site and divisional goals.
 With site leadership, identify & manage risks and opportunities, working proactively to realize
opportunities and mitigate risks to ensure that businesses objectives are achieved.
 Support the business with evaluation of capital spending requests, continuous improvement
projects and other modeling exercises and / or reviews aimed at business optimization.
 Develop, maintain, and communicate KPI’s to ensure sustainment of the plants’ financial
priorities.
 Together with shared services, this position owns the responsibility for keeping and providing
accurate financial information. This includes oversight of key controls, accuracy &
completeness of account reconciliations, and classification / categorization of items in the
P&L and Balance Sheet
 Responsibility for month end close activities related to the operation.
 Site lead / contact for forecast, budget, and long-term planning processes
 Review / Evaluate / Maintain cost systems that support our information systems including
cost center structure, Overhead rates, allocation keys, etc.
 Coordinate annual physical inventories for plant & consignment locations, ensuring that
recorded quantities accurately reflect on-hand inventory; ensure inventory is accurate and
prepare monthly analysis.
 Support efforts as we move to standardize globally on one ERP platform / instance.
 Other duties as assigned or requested.
What we need from you…
 Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of associates and work in a team
environment.
 Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
 5+ years of operations accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required.
 Ability to understand and assimilate new ideas and manage change.
 Ability to grasp complex business concepts.
 Must have advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
 Willingness to aggressively set and achieve goals with a minimum of direction.
 Demonstrated ability to make decisions and take actions to solve problems.
 Must have a continuous improvement mindset / philosophy.
 Must possess a sense of urgency and adherence to deadlines.
 Strong planning and organizational skills combined with strong written and oral
communication skills.
 Ability to travel up to 10%.
 Must be dependable and trustworthy.
 
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 Chemical Industry Experience
 CPA or CMA
 BPC experience
 Lean / Six Sigma / WCM Certification
