About the Role
As a Staff Physician in Adult Medicine, you’ll be responsible for providing a full spectrum of primary care services. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering health, preventing disease, and managing complex conditions, all within a patient-centered, team-based environment. We’re looking for a physician who thrives on delivering culturally competent care and building strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a physician who meets the following criteria:
- Education & Certification: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
- Licensure: Possess a valid State of Connecticut medical license and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration.
- Patient-Centered Approach: Willing and able to provide high-quality, efficient, and culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs.
- Communication Excellence: Proven track record of effective communication with patients, peers, and stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
- Clinical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to maintain timely, thorough, and accurate clinical documentation, make evidence-based clinical decisions, and comply with quality measures.
- Technologically Savvy: Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and other computer systems.
- Proactive & Accountable: Possess a resourceful, problem-solving attitude and an appropriate level of accountability.
- Experience Preferred: Candidates with 3+ years of experience in an ambulatory or urgent care setting are strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Advantage: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
