Physical Therapist Assistant – Job Description

  • Provide hands-on treatment sessions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and progress
  • Encourage patient accountability for attendance and adherence to therapy programs
  • Document each visit accurately and update treatment plans as necessary
  • Follow the therapist’s plan of care and communicate any patient updates
  • Supervise therapy technicians to ensure smooth treatment sessions
  • Maintain case management records and productivity reports
  • Support marketing efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
  • Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Passion for helping patients achieve recovery goals
