Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA – Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality care to help patients achieve their maximum functional level, focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Implement treatment plans by administering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Encourage and assist patients in ambulatory and daily-living activities, applying assistive and supportive care as needed.
• Assess and interpret evaluations and test results, collaborating with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Document patient care services in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring adherence to legal and professional standards.
• Conduct follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients and maintain eligibility for home health services.
• Provide maintenance therapy as required.
• Driving to patient locations is a requirement.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Possession of in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Minimum of one year of experience in home health as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
