Partner – Patent & Trademark Litigation
📍 Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Fort Myers, Tallahassee, Jacksonville)
⚖ Florida Bar Admission Required or In Progress | USPTO Admission Preferred

A prominent Florida-based law firm is seeking an experienced Patent & Trademark Litigation Partner to join its expanding Intellectual Property Practice Group. This is a compelling opportunity for a technically grounded litigator to join a highly respected platform with statewide reach and strong internal support.


Key Qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of experience in patent and trademark litigation within a law firm setting

  • Technical degree in engineering or computer science—or significant experience litigating patents in those fields

  • USPTO Patent Bar admission strongly preferred

  • Proven litigation skills, including motion practice, client strategy, and courtroom advocacy

  • Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills

  • Must be a member of the Florida Bar, or actively seeking admission

  • Must have a partial book of business (exact size flexible, but required for consideration)

  • Relocation candidates will be considered for any Florida office


Role Overview:

  • Handle complex IP litigation matters for national and international clients

  • Collaborate closely with senior partners on strategic litigation and IP enforcement

  • Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s IP practice while expanding your own client base

  • Leverage a full-service platform with internal referrals and cross-practice collaboration
