This Outside Sales Rep will focus on new business account development for our client’s uniform rental business line. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting service programs, and meeting a sales quota.
The territory: Greater Sioux City (70 mile radius), northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospecting and cold calling business clients in the field (in person). Example clients are industrial and automotive businesses.
Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory using cold call selling techniques and lead generation strategies.
Providing prospective customers with customized solutions of products and services such as uniform lease, rental, laundering and maintenance.
Meet regular sales quota and sales activity targets.
Researching the market to gather information on prospective new customers and other relative market information.
Entering initial orders for new customers and preparing agreements.
Coordinate initial deliveries with the new customers and route sales representatives.
Maintaining notes in CRM on customers and prospective future customers. Prepare sales activity reports on a regular basis.
Requirements:
3+ years of quota-driven B2B hunter (new business development) sales experience
Industry experience (uniform service or linen service) a huge plus
Must exhibit superior prospecting, presentation, negotiation and closing skills
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong work ethic, self-motivation and desire to succeed
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce, is preferred
Familiar with Greater Sioux City market
Clean driver’s license/MVR

Uncapped commission plan! Expected commission earnings is $30k+ annually. Some reps on this team earn total comp in the $150-200k range.
