Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Operations Demand Planner, preferably with a background in food manufacturing, to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on driving all demand planning activities, including participating in monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions and maintaining monthly Operations Forecast files. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales to estimate future product demand, aligning these forecasts with supply chain activities to ensure efficient production capacity planning and material flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management by conducting risk assessments and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Implement solutions to enhance demand forecast accuracy and reliability.
  • Communicate forecast and inventory estimates clearly to management.
  • Monitor and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Establish and maintain monthly forecasts to guide Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production planning.
  • Serve as a key contributor to monthly S&OP activities.
  • Address demand-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate demand for new product introductions and limited-time offers, integrating them into the overall demand picture.
  • Commit to maintaining a culture of safety, ensuring a safe work environment in collaboration with management and supervisors.
  • Engage in other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or other Supply Chain functions. Experience in multiple supply chain disciplines such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, R&D, and Quality is strongly preferred.
