Responsibilities
- Ensure the operative procedures are safe
- Assist in setting up for the case.
- Assist the surgical team to start case.
- Maintain aseptic environment and organization during the surgical procedure.
- Assist the surgeon at close of case.
- Assist anesthetist to prepare patient for Recovery Room.
Qualifications
- BSN required
- New York RN license/registration.
- One year of Hospital Operating Room experience
- BLS and ACLS from the American Red Cross required
- PALS within 6 months of employment
