Nurse Practitioner- Women’s Health

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team.  As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to women across the lifespan. You will work in collaboration with our team of healthcare providers to deliver exceptional care, focusing on reproductive health, gynecological issues, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive health assessments, including pelvic exams and Pap smears.
2. Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health issues, including but not limited to, menstrual disorders, menopause symptoms, and sexually transmitted infections.
3. Provide family planning services, including contraception counseling and prescribing birth control methods.
4. The Nurse Practitioner will educate patients on preventive healthcare, lifestyle choices, and the importance of early detection and screening.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans and ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

1. Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
2. Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
3. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
