TITLE: Nurse Manager, Cancer Services
LOCATION: New Concord, OH

What they’re looking for:
•Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Valid Registered Nurse License.
•A minimum of 2 years of experience working as chemo nurse. Working within a cancer related setting. Leadership experience a plus.
•Knowledge of clinical operations, medical terminology, levels of care, treatment modalities, and the present health care delivery system.
 
Hours and Compensation potential:
•Position is full time primarily day shift.
•The range is between 75K-110K depending on experience. They offer a complete benefit package with some relo assistance.
 
What you’ll be doing:
•The Cancer Services Nurse Manager will work within the Cancer Center and oversee the center’s daily operations. 
•The Cancer Center Nurse Manager will be responsible for educating staff on policies of the department, handling customer service, supporting physicians and staff, ensuring and tracking compliance, optimizing patient experience, and improving quality metrics. 
•The ideal candidate for this role will have previous practice management experience within Oncology settings. 
•Develop and maintain a patient-centric culture, centered on patient scheduling, arrival and follow up activities.   
•Oversee and assist in the recruitment, hiring, evaluation and termination of staff.
•Ensure compliance with the Medical Center policies and procedures.
•Monitor and meet practice specific benchmarks inclusive of point of service and scheduling. 
•Monitor practice operations to identify areas for improvement, expansion of services, and potential new market areas.

Additional info:
•Reports to and works closely with the Director of Nursing.
•Facility is around 100 beds acute care affilitiated with a system.
