Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in line with radiologist protocols
- Assess patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
- Provide patient education to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort
- Maintain a high level of quality in imaging and patient care
- Document procedures and send images to the PACS system
- Participate in quality management and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic or MRI program
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Preferred: Illinois state licensure and ARRT (R) certification
