MID-LEVEL CORPORATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

 

Our client, a prestigious Southeastern law firm, is seeking a talented Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with international experience to work on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in North Carolina.
  • 3–5 years of substantive experience in corporate and commercial transactions.
  • Experience handling commercial contracts, including supply agreements, technology contracts, and distributor agreements.
  • Background in corporate structuring, governance, and M&A.
  • International experience and foreign language proficiency, particularly in German, are preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills are required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise (primarily) international clients, on corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A.
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, sales representative and distributor agreements.
  • Handle UCC transactions and corporate formation and governance matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex business transactions.
  • Stay current on legal developments affecting corporate and commercial law.
