Compensation: $140,000 – $220,000 + 0.25% – 1% equity

About the Role:
This role involves building advanced AI systems to transform healthcare through innovative “last-mile” drug delivery infrastructure. The focus is on leveraging reasoning-adept large language models (LLMs) to accelerate the development of groundbreaking therapies for diseases like Alzheimer’s, cancer, and genetic disorders.

As a founding engineer, you will tackle challenging problems in a regulated industry while working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define and execute 0-to-1 project requirements, goals, and roadmaps based on customer problems.

• Design and implement complex AI architectures suitable for regulated industries.

• Build and manage state-of-the-art AI infrastructure.

• Drive high-quality product iterations in fast-paced environments.

Job Requirements:

• 3–8 years of production software experience.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with modern web stacks.

• Proven track record of building 0-to-1 products in early-stage startups.

• Passion for designing complex agentic AI systems.

• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco or relocate.

Nice to Have:

• Degree in Computer Science or significant experience at a hypergrowth startup.

• Background in building application-layer AI products using reasoning-adept LLMs
