Join our team as a remote Medical Sales Engineer and play a pivotal role in bridging the technical aspects of medical products with effective communication with OEMs. We’re seeking a driven individual with a solid sales background, exceptional technical prowess, and a proactive approach to building partnerships with OEMs.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ consultative selling techniques to showcase contract manufacturing capabilities and services to existing and potential clients.
  • Fuse technical product knowledge with sales expertise to serve medical device companies, particularly those in the orthopedic market.
  • Collaborate with leadership to craft annual sales plans with actionable strategies to meet or surpass targets.
  • Master quoting, pricing, and RFQ processes, aligning with our internal procedures.
  • Strategically close sales to gain market share.
  • Cultivate enduring professional relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and engage with our CRM platform.
  • Liaise with operations and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and foster mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Travel to engage with clients and prospects, including visits to our manufacturing facilities and attending industry trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience working in the medical device industry, orthopedic device experience preferred.
  • Technical engineering background, especially in medical device products for orthopedic OEMs.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex medical technologies and manufacturing perspectives to clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
