A Fortune 200 company is looking for a Manufacturing Site Director to oversee their dairy facility near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves managing the plant’s performance in safety, quality, sanitation, cost, customer service, dairy product manufacturing, milk receiving, and staff development. The goal is to enhance performance across these areas to meet business targets and support the facility’s growth. The site operates year-round, producing butter and whey powder. Candidates must have experience in high-speed food or beverage manufacturing within a large company.  We are seeking mature candidates with strong leadership skills and a proven record of building strong teams and successfully leading manufacturing transformation and change management.

Experience (Required): 

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership with strong emphasis on manufacturing experience. Demonstrated track record of delivering sustainable results, and success within LEAN, Six Sigma, CTS (cost-to-serve), and Employee Relations. 
  • High-speed food manufacturing experience, ideally dairy or CPG.
  • Bachelor’s degree is Food Science, Science, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain.
  • Foster and guide teamwork and collaboration across the entire site to enhance plant culture and boost business outcomes.
  • Proven success in manufacturing transformation and change management, delivering cost savings while enhancing the overall plant culture.
  • Extensive experience in financial management and budgeting.
