Description

As the Finance Manager – Sales Finance, you will be a key partner to the Sales departments to provide support for all financial aspects of their business units to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning and analysis. This is a role that is externally focused and enables the Sales and Marketing teams to accelerate profitable topline growth. You will need to have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. In this position, you will work within the finance department with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the CFO, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, and the VP of Retail.

Job Duties

• Provide financial support to the Sales department as a copilot.
• Own and manage Gross to Net Sales and Trade Expenditure balance sheet.
• Own Commercial related monthly close process and reporting to Group.
• Own and improve Trade Promotional Management tool.
• Own and maintain Selling Operational Expense budget.
• Recommend actions to improve product mix, gross margin, as well as customer profitability.
• Analyze monthly variances vs plan, communicate results to management team.
• Lead and develop a team of Sales Analysts.
• Support key finance / company-wide planning processes including:
• Annual Budget and Estimates throughout the year
• Monthly S&OP & Rolling Forecast process
• Support of Sales Plan Dialogue (SPD)

 (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years Finance Management experience
• Experience leading or managing teams
• Strong Sales Finance and Trade finance experience

• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong understanding of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred)
• FMCG / CPG experience strongly preferred
• SAP experience (S4 / Hana preferred)
