We’re on the hunt for a Maintenance Technician who can bring a positive attitude and a knack for problem-solving to our team. You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our industrial machinery and building systems in tip-top shape.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Jump into action for troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, and manuals to repair and maintain equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Respond quickly to maintenance calls, diagnose issues, and get things running smoothly again.
- Keep everything clean, lubricated, and adjusted for optimum performance.
- Operate metalworking tools like lathes, drill presses, and welders to fabricate or repair parts.
- Diagnose malfunctions by observing and testing machinery.
- Adopt safe working practices and perform tasks efficiently.
- Utilize reference materials to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Fit and assemble parts using machine and hand tools.
- Handle emergency breakdowns with skill, safety, and speed.
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Record your work and material usage in our computerized maintenance system.
- Operate aerial lifts and forklifts safely and effectively.
A Bit More About the Role:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager as needed.
- Support new project launches and engineering changes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during emergencies and bad weather.
- Keep your work area tidy and free of hazards.
