We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our advanced manufacturing equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, multi-axis machines, and various plant equipment. Your expertise will contribute to minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance across all machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of plant equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machine tools.
  • Inspection & Diagnosis: Regularly inspect machines for potential issues through visual inspections and scheduled testing, diagnosing problems, and determining the scope of repairs.
  • Repairs & Service: Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Tool Use: Utilize a variety of power and hand tools to perform maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain machinery and the adjacent work areas in a clean and organized state, adhering to a scheduled inspection, service, and testing routine.
  • Coolant & Chip Management: Remove and replenish coolants, segregating types as needed, and manage the separation and disposal of chips and turnings in designated areas.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the efficiency and functionality of all equipment.
  • Additional Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment maintenance, with a strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the capability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
