Maintenance Supervisor – Harvest
Shift: Nights
Type: Regular Full-Time – Salaried
The Maintenance Supervisor must have knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG, STICK). Supervisors must be able to work both as part of a team and individually. Must comply with all safety rules, lockout tagout (LOTO), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
👉 Fresh Pork or beef processing experience needed
Lead up to 10 team members to perform daily tasks and complete required paperwork
Organize and implement mechanical and engineering projects
Ensure all assigned daily PM’s and paperwork are completed
Maintain production lines in good mechanical order
Support other departments (Production, Quality) as needed
Always follow GMP’s and Safety Practices
Set up, visually inspect, test, and tear down machinery
Listen for unusual sounds from machines/equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose issues
Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired parts
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
Repair and maintain the physical structures of the facility

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
At least 1 year in a supervisory position
High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience and/or training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; OR 5 years direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of personnel and contractors
Ability to operate forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT)
Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and interpret equipment manuals
Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Experience in a fast-paced industrial setting
Leadership training
Vocational/Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in maintenance or technical field
Slaughter/meat industry experience strongly preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish, Karenni, French, Creole) highly desirable
3–5 years in a supervisory role

Occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds
Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds (buddy system or lifting devices provided)
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, and reaching required
Must have close, distance, and color vision, plus the ability to adjust focus
