Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their team and support defense litigation attorneys in a dynamic hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial
- Managing legal documents, discovery, evidence, and exhibits
- Drafting subpoenas and coordinating with records custodians
- Conducting research, jury verdict analysis, and background checks
- Preparing medical chronologies and Howell analyses
- Collaborating with experts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Organizing trial binders and demonstrative evidence
- Participating in voir dire, jury selection, and trial support
- Meeting a 1500-hour annual billable target
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience (defense litigation preferred)
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited school (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with California Code of Civil Procedure and FRCP
- Experience with trial preparation and support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, multitasking, and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with timekeeping and billing systems
