Litigation Attorney

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at one of our client’s offices in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY.

**Relocation to a commutable distance from one of the offices is required.**

Job Description

• Represent clients in federal and state courts and administrative forums
• Manage litigation matters from investigation through trial preparation and resolution
• Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial appearances
• Negotiate settlements and draft related legal documents
• Provide day-to-day legal counsel to clients on litigation-related matters

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York
• Strong litigation background preferred (civil, education, public sector, or employment litigation experience ideal)
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a team environment
