Job Description
- Represent clients in federal and state courts and administrative forums
- Manage litigation matters from investigation through trial preparation and resolution
- Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial appearances
- Negotiate settlements and draft related legal documents
- Provide day-to-day legal counsel to clients on litigation-related matters
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in New York
- Strong litigation background preferred (civil, education, public sector, or employment litigation experience ideal)
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a team environment
