Their Trial & Litigation Practice Group handles cases from initial pleadings through trial and appeals in both state and federal courts.
Job Description
- Handle all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and appeal.
- Work on complex cases involving constitutional law, civil rights, eminent domain, and more.
- Participate in litigation strategy, research, and writing of persuasive legal arguments.
- Manage electronic discovery and law and motion practice in state and federal courts.
- Develop evidence, interview witnesses, and take/defend depositions.
- Focus on building a strong case for trial, particularly in high-stakes and large-scale litigation.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of litigation experience, ideally with complex case management.
- Strong research and writing skills, with a proven ability to draft clear legal arguments.
- Experience in federal and state courts, including dispositive motions.
- Familiarity with electronic discovery and deposition practice.
- Eminent Domain or real estate law experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
