ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms^®, is seeking a highly-motivated Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment Litigation team in Richmond. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a wide range of labor and employment matters, working with sophisticated clients on cutting-edge legal issues. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and eager to take on significant responsibilities while contributing to the firm’s expanding labor and employment practice.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

• Active Bar Admission in Virginia.

• 1–5 years of substantive litigation experience.

• Background in labor and employment litigation preferred, but general civil litigation backgrounds will be considered.

• Strong litigation and case management skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Desire to be part of a busy national practice, demonstrating initiative and the ability to assume responsibility for matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex labor and employment litigation matters.

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment disputes and compliance matters.

• Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.

• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
