LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: Hartford, CT
Our client, a well-respected AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing Hartford office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned attorneys.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Bar Admission in Connecticut.
- 1–3 years of substantive litigation experience within a law firm setting, handling matters in both state and federal courts.
- Strong analytical and legal writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Prior clerkship experience and knowledge of employment law issues are valuable, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
- Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
- Manage multiple client matters in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality legal work.
- Provide exceptional client service by effectively communicating case progress and legal strategies.
