Life Sciences Patent Agent

Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. They seek a Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property (“IP”) Group, preferably in their New York office working in a hybrid setting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Working with clients to identify inventions, assisting attorneys in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, assisting attorneys in patent searching and patent analysis, and providing technical assistance to attorneys in IP transactions.
• Strong academic credentials, as well as outstanding analytical, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, molecular biology, or cellular biology. (this is a must)

The base salary for this position is $145,000-$215,000 (Dependent of Experience). Plus, bonus and a full range of benefits for you and your eligible dependents.
