Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Secretary for its Sausalito office. This full-time role supports attorneys in all phases of litigation, including document preparation, calendaring, and case management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and emails.
  • Assemble materials for court filings, hearings, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
  • Maintain attorney calendars and track critical deadlines.
  • Manage incoming mail and emails; organize client and chronological files.
  • Schedule meetings and travel; assist with pitch materials and presentations.
  • Operate transcription equipment, copiers, fax machines, and other standard office tools.
  • Provide additional administrative and marketing support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior litigation legal secretary experience.
  • Typing speed of at least 70 WPM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with iManage preferred.
  • Strong proofreading and document formatting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple workloads and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills for working with attorneys, clients, and staff.
