Lead Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical Infrastructure

Aurora, CO |

Our client, a well-established engineering and infrastructure company near Denver, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to design and integrate electrical power systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure and modular data center environments.

This is a senior technical role focused on critical power distribution, including UPS systems, switchgear, switchboards, and large-scale electrical infrastructure used in modular and prefabricated environments.

You’ll lead electrical design efforts from concept through build—developing single-line diagrams, schematics, and electrical layouts, specifying equipment, ensuring code compliance (NEC / NFPA / UL), and working closely with manufacturing and operations teams to deliver systems that are reliable, scalable, and buildable.

The role also includes technical leadership and mentorship of engineers and designers while helping standardize electrical designs across modular platforms.

Ideal background:

• 10–15+ years of electrical engineering experience

• Strong experience with UPS systems, switchgear, and power distribution

• Experience supporting data centers, modular infrastructure, mission critical products, or critical power environments

• Background working closely with manufacturing, fabrication, or prefabricated systems

• Experience with AutoCAD / Revit electrical design tools

This position is based in metro Denver, Colorado (full-time in office) and requires U.S. citizenship.

If you have experience designing electrical systems where reliability and uptime truly matter, this could be a strong next step. Apply today and let’s talk through it!
