Our client is very fast growing boutique law firm in Garden City NY (a beautiful suburb on the western side of Long Island). They specialize in Labor and Employment matters, including unionization issues, and work on both the plaintiff and defense side of things.
It’s a small successful firm with more work than they can handle.
As a result, they need to attract at least one (and maybe more) attorney who is highly organized and independent to help them with their copious case load. They need someone who can make order out of chaos.
While prior experience in this field is a plus, it’s not required. As the Partner told me “We can teach the nuances of Labor and Employment.” They are focused on the right things: the personal qualities of the person they will hire.
Compensation will depend on the experience and skill you bring, and will of course be commensurate with the cost of living in the area.
