Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Attorney – Insurance Pre-Litigation to join their growing team. The role involves managing a high-volume docket of first-party property insurance cases in pre-litigation (no trials).
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling first-party property damage disputes against insurance companies
- Managing a high-volume docket through early-stage resolution and negotiation
- Reviewing insurance policies, damage reports, and claim documentation
- Drafting demands and handling correspondence with carriers
- Communicating regularly with clients to keep them informed and empowered
- Working collaboratively with the support team to resolve claims quickly and effectively
- No cold business development—qualified leads are provided through inbound traffic
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Texas (required)
- 7+ years of experience in plaintiff or defense-side property damage insurance claims
- Strong knowledge of property damage claims and first-party coverage issues
- Ability to manage a large docket with attention to detail and efficiency
- Comfortable with legal technology and modern case management systems
- Excellent negotiation, writing, and client communication skills
