TITLE: IT Pharmacy Consultant
Location: Buckeye Lake, OH

What they’re looking for:
•Current Pharmacist License(must obtain Ohio Pharmacist license within 6mo), Epic Willow certification
•Three years of acute care experience. Four years of related work experience in the field of system administration, systems analysis/design and/or computer system project management or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
•Experience with large enterprise clinical system projects and clinical information system software.
•Epic certification or Epic implementation experience.
Hours and compensation potential:
•The position is full-time day shift. Weekends and Holiday’s may be required periodically for Go Lives, and are required for on-call issue support.  
•The range is between for $48.33hr-$55hr depending on experience.
• Full benefits package including some relo.
What you’ll be doing:
•Coordinates the efforts of corporate management in defining organizational goals and develops systems and procedures to achieve these goals. 
Works with the Pharmacy department, nursing units, ED and other clinical department to identify needs, select and acquire systems and develop plans that will lead to more profitable, effective and efficient operations or systems solutions. 
Coordinates all facets of nursing and related clinical applications for hospitals information systems. 
Acts as a liaison between IT, pharmacy, nursing, clinical departments, department directors, IS and the medical staff.  
Provides management and oversight of the clinical system based inpatient and ambulatory drug formularies.  
Manages the pharmacy and closed loop medication management and related clinical applications for hospitals information systems.
•Ensures completion and high quality of deliverables assigned to the team including but not limited to, project plan, design documentation, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum and activation plans.
•Supports the PMO with design documentation, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum and activation plan.
•Ensures deliverables are approved by the appropriate Users and are completed in accordance with the plan.
•Coordinates Quality Assurance and reviews final product for identified functionality and completeness.
• Works with other teams to coordinate team activities with other project teams to integrate work and system design, build, testing, training, and go-live.
•Evaluates the business procedures and analyzes business processes to ensure proper system configuration.
•Develops and maintains documentation and procedures as needed, provide training to other IT staff and user clients as appropriate.
•Provides Epic product function, design, and build expertise (obtains certification) and experience needed for successful product implementation. 
•Supports all project team members with application and information systems knowledge. Primary resource dedicated to designing, building, testing, and activating the application database.

•Position reports to the Community Physicians Applications Manager. 
•Great group of people to work with.
•Position can be remote but they must be in Ohio and able to come onsite for Go-Lives and on call issues.
